Ms. F l Saskatoon Boudoir Photography

I arrived at Ms. F’s home on a beautiful Saturday just as she was finishing her make up. We’d been chatting about her shoot for a few weeks and with her best friend along for a little support we got started.

She decided to have her shoot done in their home which I think is always a great idea. Hotel rooms are fantastic too but having them done at home gives them a bit more of a personal touch. She had the perfect outfits picked out and did an absolutely amazing job of her session! I always come with a lot of pose ideas and after a few minutes she was totally relaxed and even suggesting a few of her own ideas which I always love. A lot of people have asked me about her eyes and you may not believe me but there is not a bit of Photoshop magic applied to them! One of the many reasons that she created the stunning images you see here.

She was kind enough to let me show off a few of her best photos here on the blog and I think you would agree that her husband is a lucky man!

The shoot and album that she purchased were a gift for their anniversary and I always try to make sure that the photos we take are both something that she would be proud of and of course that he would love as well. I asked her what he likes most about her and one of the first things she mentioned is that he is a…ummm….’behind’ sort of guy. It turns out those were some of his favorite shots, those ones are for his eyes only though!

Here is the email that Ms. F sent me after she received her photos:

“The photos are absolutely INCREDIBLE! I’m MORE than EXCITED to see his reaction! I absolutely love what you have done with the photos. I can’t THANK YOU enough! The album is just what I hoped and the back of the cover is absolutely perfect as well! As long as it shows my bottom, it’ll be great! Like I said, he is a bit of a bottom fan. Okay, now I’m blushing!”

Nicole Part 1 l Saskatoon Boudoir Photography

Over the next few weeks I’m going to post several sets to help give you a better idea of the different styles of photos you can create with a boudoir session. Sometimes women think that a photographer has only a set style of shots they do or that they’ll have to do photos that are a little more risque than they’re comfortable with, or that their photos won’t be quite as daring as they had hoped.

When you book a session with me we’ll talk in detail to make sure that you get exactly the photos that you want, nothing more and nothing less. I’ll get you to rate what kinds of photos you want from a scale of 1 to 10. 1 is a fun and flirty PJ set where you wouldn’t be showing much skin at all (I have one of these coming up soon on the blog), 5 is what you would see in a Victoria’s Secret catalog and 10 is closer to a Maxim style photo.

So Nicole is a model from Regina who I had a shoot with a few weeks ago and her photos are definitely a 9 or 10 (you’ll see why in part 2 of her post coming up a little later)! I completely respect the privacy of my clients so many women who have created shots just like these aren’t comfortable with having them online so I like to use sets like this from women who are proud to show off a little online!

Nikki l Saskatoon Fashion Photography

It really is a small world. Nikki was a bridesmaid at one of my first weddings last summer. Then she was a part of an incredible afternoon of fashion shoots in the fall. Two weeks ago she had the MC duties at a wedding I was photographing and she’ll be at next weeks wedding as well!

Nikki is one of those wonderful people that I truly enjoyed working with. The kind of person who you could never get tired of because she is so kind and fun to be around. Most women are a little nervous before a shoot but she just dove right in and tried all of the ideas I suggested and even came up with a few great poses of her own at the end of the morning!
