I feel incredibly lucky to be able to provide women with an opportunity to enjoy an experience that will leave them feeling sexy and confident! This is a chance to put yourself first and whether you’re doing the session for yourself, your boyfriend or husband or as an anniversary or birthday gift, it will answer that question you’ve always had, ‘I wonder what it would be like to be a model?’

No matter your body type or age (I’ve photographed teachers, models, stay at home moms, real estate agents, university students, engineers and even a Grandma!) I believe everyone can completely work a photo shoot! I’ll guide you through the entire experience – finding a make up artist and stylist, choosing outfits and a location and using poses and angles that will show you at your very best.

After that all you have to worry about is having an amazing time at your session!

Some of your question answered…

I don’t look like a Victoria’s Secret model.

Neither do the Victoria’s Secret models!  It takes a team of people hours to create the images that you see.

Instead of worrying about the pictures you’ve seen, we’ll make sure that you choose flattering outfits, have your make up perfectly applied and then choose poses and angles that will make you look like you could be in a magazine!

Where are the sessions done?

For fashion work I love to find some great spots in and around town. If you choose a boudoir shoot I have a studio space available, you can do the shoot right in the comfort of your own home or you can book a hotel room (which you get to enjoy with your guy that night after your shoot!)

Can I do my own makeup?

Absolutely! Use your favorite artist or even head to the MAC counter and let them know that this is for a photo shoot.

Should I go tanning before my shoot?

Tanning a couple of times before your session is fine, but over tanning can make your skin too dark and uneven. Also, be conscious of tan lines. All photos will be retouched, but removing tan lines can delay the photo processing a lot and if the tan lines are too dark, it could be something that can’t be retouched at all.

Will my photos be retouched?

Yes! My retouching can add just that little extra that makes you fall in love with your photos. I think everyone should have the opportunity to see themselves at their very best. I don’t believe in over processing, you will still look like you but your skin will be smoothed a little, stray hairs will be removed, make up can be perfected and I can help you lose a pound or two (digitally).

Can I bring a friend?

I am absolutely fine with a friend coming along with you! I actually encourage you to talk your friend into booking a session that day as well. Sometimes it’s a lot more fun when friends are right there with you doing the same thing.

How should I get ready for my shoot?

Get lots of sleep the night before and eat a light breakfast or lunch depending on when your session is. Don’t let time stress you out, arrive for your hair and make up appointments early and then of course for your session as well! If you booked a boudoir session, come in loose fitting clothing that won’t leave marks on your body. Wear a button up shirt so that you won’t disturb your hair and makeup.

Most of all, be ready to have fun! After all, how many of your friends can say they’ve been a part of a real photo shoot like this?!

Will it be awkward working with a male photographer?

Probably not. You can read about the experience some women have had on the raves page.  I have only two goals for your shoot. One, you should have fun! Second, to create images more beautiful than you would have thought possible! Everything I do for you will help to accomplish this. I respect your privacy and I take the trust that women place in me very seriously, your entire experience will be comfortable and enjoyable.  After a few minutes you’ll be so busy posing and chatting with me that you’ll forget that you were ever nervous!

Plus, if the photos are a gift for your guy, who better to know what he would like than another guy!

What should I expect during my session?

You’ll probably feel a little nervous before the session and that’s normal, you’re not the only one! By the end though you’ll be ready to book another session after realizing how amazing you feel after the experience. It’s a private session with only myself (and a make up artist if you wish to have one there and you can always bring a friend for support to!) there for the entire shoot. When you arrive we can just chat and enjoy a coffee (or another relaxing beverage of your choice) while you start your hair and make up (if on site services are requested). After that we’ll sort through your outfits and pick what you want to use. We’ll slowly ease into the session and before you know it the butterflies will be gone and you’ll be having a blast!

What if I’m not as skinny as I planned or I feel puffy on the day of my shoot?

No matter how you feel when you walk into the shoot, I promise you’ll feel fantastic by the time you walk out! During your session I’ll help guide you to get the most flattering angles and poses for your body type. Don’t stress yourself out about it, you will be amazed when you get to see your finished photos.

What should I bring to my boudoir session?

During your consultation we will chat about ideas on different possibilities to make your session sexy and unique. I typically tell women to bring an entire suitcase if they want to, that way we have lots of options! Here are a few ideas on popular wardrobe and props:

-   Those “booty ” jeans or that skirt your guy asks you to wear all the time
-   Leather jacket or tops that can open up to show some cleavage
-   Lingerie… all types, just bring what you feel the sexiest in and we’ll go through everything
-   Boy shorts
-   Fishnet or thigh high stockings
-   Sports related, work related or personal interest wardrobe or props (military uniform, sports jersey, fireman’s jacket, work shirt, tie, footballs, guitars, snowboards, surfboards, helmets, roller-skates)
-  Jewelry, stilettos and boots are always fun accessories to add to shots!
-  Feel free to bring a robe from home to wear in between wardrobe changes, etc…

Will I wear clothes or lingerie the entire time?

This is entirely up to you. I do shoot fine art implied nudity shoots for most women, but it is not at all necessary to capture great intimate photos. Sometimes leaving more to the imagination can be even hotter!

How long does it take to get my photos?

Your photos will be available for viewing within 4 weeks of your session date.

Will you be using my boudoir photos on your website?

I never use anyone’s photos on my blog without written permission.

One way that I keep my services affordable and will always be able to offer you a CD with all of your finished images (potentially saving you hundreds of dollars in print costs) is that I don’t advertise (you have better things to spend your money on than a Yellow Pages ad for my business!).  Other than word of mouth I promote my business through this blog so I appreciate being able to show off some of the  beautiful images that we’ve helped create.  So if you love your photos and would like to show  a few of them off I would be honored to share them on my site!

What other types of product to you offer?

I offer albums and prints ranging from wallets to 8×10′s and gorgeous wall portraits. A very popular product is the canvas gallery wrap, which is one of the best ways to show off that stunning “fine art body” in your home. I also can do calendars an information on these products will be included with your finished photos.

Do you do Boudoir Parties?

Absolutely, just check out the investment page for more info.

 What is your cancellation policy?

I realize that life happens so if you need to reschedule or move around times, please let me know as soon as possible.
