After Ashley & Cody’s hilarious engagement session I knew that I would get more of the same on their wedding day. This amazing couple had the entire group cracking up the whole day and the three hours we had for photos in the afternoon went by even faster than usual.
The day started off with the boys getting an old fashion shave and while this wasn’t anything new for Cody, the other guys were in for a new experience and actually loved it! First Impressions is actually one of (maybe even the only) the last places in the city where you can still go to get a straight shave and they do a great job.
After a beautiful ceremony that ended with the couple updating their relationship status’ on Facebook in front of all their guests we visited a few spots that were really special to both of them. Their photos were very important to them and they gave this part of their day all their attention. They even came with some of their own ideas (a lot of which are here in their post) and reminded me why I’m so fortunate to do this for a living. What better way to spend a Saturday than watching two people start their lives together surrounded by friends and family?
