What a day!
I really don’t know where to start or how to write this post so I think I’m just going to say a bunch of thank you’s.
To all of Jana’s amazing bridesmaids, you were all a pleasure to work with and photograph. I’ll never forget the little round of applause that you gave me when I first walked in. It probably didn’t mean alot to you but it was a huge reminder of why I’m so lucky to do this. You’re an absolutely beautiful group of women who the lovely bride is very lucky to call friends.
To Norma and Keith, I’ve never had the pleasure of getting to know a family like I did yours during the wedding. Thank you for making me feel like a part of your family for those few short hours.
To Jana’s aunt Tanis and her friend Chelsea who are two of the most organized people I have ever met. Our photos went as smoothly as they did because of your help and I wish I could take you along to more of my weddings. The photo I have of your color coded day planner is one of my personal favorites!
Most of all of course, to Jana and Joel.
It is couples like you that photographers hope for. I’m trying to think of more eloquent words to use but the plain truth is – you were so much fun to work with!
Thank you for taking the time to put so much effort into your photos and for getting us into the theatre for some of the best shots I’ve ever had the pleasure of taking.

Dave is the kind of guy who asks his photographer to get up at 6am on a Saturday morning to come golfing with him and his friends. Luckily, his photographer is a morning person who couldn’t think of a better way to spend a beautiful morning getting some great shots of his last few hours as a single man. The one thing I’ll never forget about Dave is what he said after the guys commented on how cool Claire was for getting them the awesome fedora’s to wear while playing.

Secrets and more secrets. I thought I was going to explode!

Rob (aka Big Tuna) was so much fun to spend time with during the wedding. Every bit of his attention was on Lisa, from making sure she always had some water on hand (it was sooo hot that day) to helping her in and out of some of the poses we used. He’s an easy going guy and definitely took the time to just step back and enjoy this day that they had planned for so long. Speaking of planning, I’ve never met another groom who was so into the wedding plans! Come to think of it, I may have received more emails from Rob than I did from Lisa – very cool!
