Allie & Tim l Saskatoon Wedding Photography

If I had to pick someone to plan our wedding I think I would choose Allie and Tim! Everything about their day was so focused on making sure that they were able to actually enjoy each moment of it and that their guests had a wonderful time as well. Tim and the guys invited me along for some time at the driving range while the girls enjoyed some champagne and dancing as they got ready. After a beautiful First Look and then a ceremony surrounded by family and friends we explored the course at the Willows for their formals.

Even though we didn’t have a lot of time it seemed like we were able to capture so many great photos, all because they were just enjoying nothing more than being together. It was an hour of nothing but laughs, silly poses and them just doing their thing in front of the camera.  Another group at the Willows even wanted to get in on the fun and had them pose with him after winning a tournament that afternoon!

p.s.  The question that I most often get is do I have a favorite wedding photo that I’ve taken.  I always answer the question the same way, I have so many favorites there is just no way to choose.  I now have a different answer to that question thanks to the second to last photo in this post.  I honestly don’t even remember setting this one up (so they get all the credit!) and I was surprised when I saw it during editing.  There is something about it that made it impossible for me to stop looking at it – Tim looking so casual in the background, Allie with that amazing look and pose, the colors and soft sky.  Is it weird that I have a photo of another couple on my monitors wallpaper?!

Christine & Kevin l Saskatoon Wedding Photography

Christine and Kevin had quite possibly one of the most relaxed and casual weddings I’ve ever had the pleasure of being a part of. They set tradition aside and decided to enjoy an earlier ceremony at the Berry Barn and then have lunch with all of their guests. After a little break we had a great time at some of my favorite spots before heading downtown for a few last shots before sunset. They hosted a small dinner for the wedding party and family after that and then enjoyed the rest of the night spending time with their friends.

I love couples who do something a little different for their big day and truly make it their own. The day seems so much more authentic and you truly get to participate with the bride and groom because you know that the day was exactly what they wanted.

Here are a few of my favorites from Courtney and Justin’s beautiful fall wedding earlier this month. The weather had been terrible all week but we woke up to sun and warmer temperatures and made the most of it! The entire day couldn’t have been better, from seeing Courtney’s amazing dress for the first time to a wonderful afternoon of photos with their wedding party, it was all perfect.
