This was the third time I got to work with Des and Jay and their beautiful family. This time it was to celebrate the arrival of their newest son, Ryan. Everyone was so impressed with how he slept through almost the entire session, except his big brother Drew of course. He was just wondering why the guy with the camera wasn’t paying as much attention to him this time!

Just a few months ago I met with Jennifer & Cam to help capture some beautiful photos of their little daughter Claire before she became a big sister (twice!). Her little brother and sister arrived a few weeks later and I couldn’t have asked for better twins to capture!

They were just two weeks old when I came over and the both decided that our session was a great time to take a little nap and then wake up in a great mood and ready for pictures. I’ve only met a few couples with twins and I’m always amazed at what kind of team work it takes to perform the simplest task and how they learn to adapt. I was chatting with Cam downstairs while Jenn was getting them dressed and then I saw her walk down the steps with both of the twins in one arm! Apparently, picking up two babies up with separate hands is harder than it looks.

So here are little Alexander and his sister Madeleine.

Enjoy!

Candice & Kerry’s home was under renovation when little Paetyn was born so one of their friends was kind enough to let us use their home for her newborn shoot!

I got to know Candice during her maternity session last summer and is without a doubt one of the most enjoyable people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Speaking as someone who is behind the camera for reasons other than my love of photography, she is one of those wonderful people who makes my job pretty easy. She’s confident, beautiful, quiet and just a lot of fun to be around.

I couldn’t wait to meet her husband Kerry (who plays bicycle polo I found out – too cool) and get to know them better as a couple and it was a great afternoon. They were happy to just hold their new daughter for a few hours while I clicked away.
