Last year I decided it was time to start crossing some of my bucket list shoots off. There are so many ideas I want to bring to life but I use the usual excuse of not having enough time and then I get to the end of the summer and realize I haven’t done a single shoot for no other reason than I thought it would be fun.
I decided to hit the ground running with something that I’ve dreamed of doing for years. Ever since I rented From Russia With Love when I was 13 I’ve been a huge Bond fan and after Casino Royale was released a few years ago I had a new favorite.
I met Chad last year after I did a shoot with his lovely girlfriend Lacy and realized I had found my Daniel Craig. After a few hurried weeks of tux shopping (who knew a peaked lapel jacket would be so hard to find), location hunting and planning we lucked out with the perfect Sunday to shoot on. Lacy did an amazing job of his make up and I really can’t say enough about Chad.
I made him wake up before sunrise so we would have a bit of soft light to work with before we went inside and he didn’t complain once. After a bit of practicing and coaching from Lacy and I we started with the main movie poster shot and then we started to recreate some other scenes from the movie as well as put in a few of our own ideas.
So here is part one of my Casino Royale inspired shoot!
